A Lubbock man who thought he was chatting with a fifteen-year-old is going to prison. Friday, Judge Sam Cummings sentenced Sam Reyes Tovar to 21 months in prison. After prison, he must serve a three year supervised release and register as a sex offender. Tovar must turn himself in by July 14th. In court documents, Tovar admitted to using Yahoo instant messenger to chat with a fifteen-year-old. He also sent an obscene live video broadcast to the girl. That teen turned out to be an undercover FBI agent.
