Teen Killed In Traffic Accident North of Plainview

A teenager is dead and three other people are hospitalized after a crash just north of Plainview, Tuesday afternoon.

DPS Troopers say the car was headed south on I-27 but the driver lost control and went into the northbound lane. You can see the swerve marks on the highway. A semi-truck was apparently going through a cloud of dust and its driver didn't see the car until he clipped it.

A female teen from the car was killed. Two other people from the car were flown by Aerocare to Lubbock and EMS took another to a Plainview hospital.
