Truck Catches Fire and Stops Traffic - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An unusual sight on Highway 87 stopped traffic for half an hour, early Thursday morning. The call to fire fighters came in about 3 a.m.  Apparently, the truck overheated and caught fire, just south of 82nd street.

The driver was nowhere to be found, but a passenger went to the hospital for evaluation.
