Arson Under Investigation in East Lubbock

The Lubbock Fire Marshal's office says someone tried to set an east Lubbock home on fire Monday.

The fire happened around 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at 1909 East Colgate. Fortunately, fire fighters arrived before the flames got out of hand. Investigators say the home was also vandalized and were told by neighbors that kids had been playing in the area.
