Gas Leak Closes Intersection Near Idalou - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A gas leak northwest of Idalou is now contained. The intersection at Farm to Market Roads 1294 and County Road 5900 was closed briefly Monday around 4:15 p.m. Authorities re-opened it again just before 6 p.m. 

The cause of the gas leak is under investigation but authorities suspect a car may have hit a gas meter.
