Farmers tell us the rain is timely but say it's still not enough.
Littlefield cotton producer Brad Heffington says, "We need a good soaking general rain. We need an inch or better to do some good right now. You know the dry land crop probably takes an inch or two inches to help."
Heffington says anything below an inch of rainfall evaporates in the heat. To the south of Lubbock where they're facing a drought, farmers say they are still in desperate need of more rain.
