Council Rejects Xcel Rate Increase

Here's some news Xcel customers in Lubbock will be happy to hear. The Lubbock City Council voted unanimously today to reject Xcel's proposed rate increase.

NewsChannel 11 first told you about Xcel's request back in May. Xcel was seeking a 7.4% increase which would add up to about $5 a month for the average household.
