"Not suspicious." That's what an investigator with the Carlisle Volunteer Fire Department had to say about a mobile home fire near Reese Center.
It started around 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, in the backroom and quickly spread. Two women were in the living room, watching TV at the time. They saw the fire, grabbed their pets and called 9-1-1.
It took firefighters minutes to put out the flames, unfortunately, they still lost everything. Fire victim Kathryn Cornell says, "We lost all of our antiques family photos that we can't replace, all of our furniture and a place to live."
Investigators say the damage was too extensive to determine an exact cause.
