Avenue G Is Now Crickets Avenue

Say goodbye to Avenue G and hello to Crickets Avenue. Lubbock City Council members approved that name change Monday.

The change is effective immediately, so as soon as the signs are made, you'll see them change on Avenue G from Broadway to I-27.
