Testimony Begins in Capital Murder Trial

Testimony began Tuesday in the capital murder trial of Barry Thoms. The 31 year old Lubbock man is accused of shooting 79 year old Dorman Shaw back in 2004.

A DPS weapons specialist testified that the gun used in the crime, requires more than nine pounds of pressure to pull the trigger. He says that implies the four gunshot wounds Shaw suffered could not have been accidental.
