Cable Failure Causes Power Outage - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Power is back on after an afternoon disruption in north and central Lubbock. Xcel energy tells us more than 900 customers were affected around 3 Wednesday afternoon. Workers located the problem and restored power about an hour later.

We're told the problem was an underground cable failure.
