Lubbock Police Department Remember One Of Their Own

Members of the Lubbock Police force took time out Wednesday to remember one of their own.  Captain Victor Quintana died Sunday of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at our Lady of Grace church in north Lubbock.

Quintana joined the Lubbock Police Department in 1987. He started off in the patrol division, then moved to police administration and then to internal affairs. During his time with the force he attained the ranks of corporal, sergeant, lieutenant and finally captain.

Quintana is survived by his wife and five children.
