Hit & Run Crash Causes Power Outage - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Eight hours...that's how long one northwest Lubbock apartment complex was without power Thursday morning. Police say a driver is to blame.

The driver hit a transformer at the Exchange Apartments at 210 North Winston around 2 a.m. Thursday. The accident caused a power outage which wasn't restored until about 10 a.m.

Apartment managers are now searching through surveillance video to help police locate a suspect.
