Whether it's new highways, development, the economy, or water, Lubbock's future is now being discussed in Post.
That's where Mayor David Miller and the city council joined seven Lubbock citizens for a strategic planning conference. They are talking about a wide range of issues affecting the hub city. Those discussions continue Thursday over dinner.
The conference is stage one of a three phase plan. Stage two calls for including other entities tied to community growth like the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Texas Tech University. Stage three will include the surrounding communities.
