She confessed to involvement with a series of Lubbock bank robberies. Now, Erica Edwards will serve more than eight years in federal prison.
Judge Sam Cummings handed down the sentence in a Lubbock courtroom Friday morning. Edwards must also pay more than $15,000 in restitution. She and David Aaron Johnson held up the Plains Bell Credit Union at 2545 74th street back in January. James Edward Peacock then drove the getaway car.
The other two men have admitted their guilt and are still awaiting sentencing.
