Driver Escapes Before Truck Catches Fire - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A truck driver escaped just seconds before the cab of his dump truck caught fire Friday morning. DPS Troopers say Rocky Perez overcorrected and rolled his truck on its side off F-M 1729 in  north Lubbock County around 11 a.m.  He was able to crawl out of the cab before it burst into flames.  

He's being treated for moderate injuries at Covenant Medical Center.
