We are now just nine days away from a major decision that will affect almost the entire city of Lubbock. The City Council will meet to vote on the second reading of a drought revision plan.
The plan calls for restricted lawn watering by stages. Stage one would limit you to watering your lawn twice a week. Stage two would be just once a week. Stage three would be once a month and stage four would be no watering at all.
This comes as Lubbock's main water supply, Lake Meredith, is at an all time low. NewsChannel 11 warned you of the problem in a three-series water investigation last November. Starting tomorrow night at ten, we'll bring you that series again so you can better understand the challenges ahead.
