Vandals Target Lubbock School & Church Overnight

School is out for the summer but that didn't stop some kids from causing damage at a school and a church in Central Lubbock. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta brings us this damage report.

Police tell us just after 2 a.m. Monday morning, two juveniles went on a rampage at Maedgen Elementary. The two suspects broke 52 windows on the North side of the school, shattering glass and tearing up blinds.

They also did some damage just across the street as St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Police say they broke three windows in the church van.

No other damage has been reported. The suspects are described as two Hispanic males between the ages of 15-18. If you have any information that can help police catch the suspects responsible for this damage, call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
