This product is called the Perfect Slicer. It claims to give you perfect slices every time. The product only cost $5, but Does It Work?

The product itself is silver in color, and resembles tongs. This one has slits in it for the knife. We first tried an onion. We used a medium kitchen knife that was scrapping against the sides every time. The noise reminded us of fingernails on a chalkboard! Besides the noise, the knife was apparently too big.  The knife kept getting stuck in the slits.

We tried a smaller knife.  But to no avail, the smaller knife did not work any better.
