Volunteers Clean Up After 4th On Broadway

They came...they saw...and they left. And what thousands of people left behind...was trash.

Wednesday, volunteers spent the morning picking up trash at Mackenzie Park.  Lubbock County inmates were also on hand to help dismantle the performance stage used in Tuesday night's 4th on Broadway celebration.  The fireworks finale lasted about 20 minutes and brought an end to the day long festival.

The 16th annual event attracted thousands of people who saw more than eighty parade floats, visited some fifty vendors and listened to dozens of musicians.
