Thursday morning fire investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire that destroyed a Lubbock preschool almost two months ago. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta takes a look at what's left of Southwest Private School.
The rubble was recently cleared away, all that's left is dirt and concrete foundation. That wasn't the case almost two months ago.
On May 15th, the school somehow caught fire in the early morning hours. Fire crews battled the flames for eight hours but the fire completely destroyed the school. About 80 students attended the almost 40 year-old pre-school. Owner Celia Pruitt says she has no plans to rebuild. We tried to contact her but she was unavailable for comment. We'll continue to follow the investigation.
