You've heard of build a bear, here kids can pick the features and clothes to give it a special look all their own. Tylenol has come up with a similar idea that could make even the grumpiest child smile when they're sick.
With Tylenol's new flavor creator. The child decides what flavor. Then mom pours the right amount of Tylenol into the cup and adds the crystal on top to mix it and make it taste like strawberry, green apple, bubble gum or even chocolate.
Dr. Pam Huffman, a pediatrician, says she thinks this is a great idea. "If you have difficulty with the child and they don't like the taste they may resist taking the medication. They may run around the room. They may spit it out so you will lose the appropriate dose to make them feel better."
But Dr. Huffman adds it's just as important for parents to tell kids that even though this stuff tastes good, it's still medicine, and parents need to be sure to store it in a child proof cabinet.
