Chamber, City Honor Pete Laney - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Former Texas Speaker of the House Pete Laney and his wife Nelda were in Lubbock Thursday.

The City of Lubbock and the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce hosted a reception in their honor Thursday afternoon at the Lubbock Club. Mayor David Miller read a proclamation thanking Laney for his 33 years of service in the legislature. He then presented the couple with a painting of a West Texas sunset.
