Area Marine Reservists Heading to Middle East - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The 35 men and four women boarded buses to Dallas Thursday night.  From there they will head to Camp Pendleton in California. There, they will undergo six weeks of weapons training and combat conditioning before serving a seven month tour of duty in the Middle East. 

The marines and their families are thankful for the support of the Lubbock community and say that makes leaving a little easier.
