Six Homeless After North Lubbock House Fire

A family of six is homeless Tuesday, after a fire destroyed their house in North Lubbock County.

The fire broke out on the second floor around five o'clock Monday afternoon. Fire crews were called back Tuesday afternoon, to extinguish yet another hot spot. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials can say the home is a total loss.

Louise Lee returned to the site earlier Tuesday to tour what is left of her home. She says all she has left is the shirt on her back. Louise isn't even sure where she and her family will live next.

A special account has been set up to benefit her family. If you would like to make a donation you can do so at any branch of People's Bank in Lubbock or Lorenzo.
