The City of Post is left high and dry. Just 35-miles Southeast of Lubbock, the community of Post found themselves without water.
After a break in the 12-inch main line along Highway 380 once utility officials realized exactly what they were dealing with, they were forced to shut off the water to the near 4,000 residents and businesses.
Crews restored water to all residents by Wednesday morning. However, officials tell us they need to boil their water before drinking or cooking with it until Monday, when the results of water testing will be complete.
