A group of cross-country Cyclists arrived in Lubbock yesterday. They're called Push
America and they're riding to bring awareness to people with disabilities. It's part of the Journey of Hope and Thursday morning they are moving on to their next destination. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta spent the morning with the cyclists before their departure.
Push America is a group of 17 cyclists and 6 crew members from across the country, all members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Their journey started back in mid-June and their final destination is Washington, D.C.
Wednesday they rode 60 miles from Muleshoe to Lubbock. The men visited the Lubbock State School interacting with the residents and families. Their next stop is Snyder.
