City Codes Inspectors Comb Through North, East Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Some residents in North and East Lubbock came home to find citations on their doors.

On Thursday, the codes department looked for junk vehicles, weeds and substandard housing in the Parkway and Cherry Point neighborhoods. Inspectors say while they give citations, their goal is to educate the community on violations and the law.
