Mother Ticketed For Unrestrained Child Two Years Before Fatal Rollover - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 did some digging and found an interesting fact about a Lubbock mother whose daughter died in a rollover last week.

Three year-old Alessandra Danielle Alonso was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown through the windshield during the accident. It happened last Thursday on East Parkway Drive. Police say 26-year-old Adelaida had her seat belt on, but did not have her children buckled up. Her 5-year-old daughter survived.

This is not the first time Alonso has been caught driving with an unrestrained child. NewsChannel 11 learned she received a ticket for that very reason - almost two years ago.
