Wanted Man Found In Austin - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

After three months on the run, Austin police captured a man wanted for a Lubbock shooting.

Sammy Salaz is accused of shooting Joshua Yelvington in the back of the head in April. Police say Salaz found Yelvington talking to his girlfriend in the 1500 Block of East 1st Place. The injury was not life threatening.

Authorities learned of Salaz's whereabouts and made the arrest Thursday.
