A father and son are hospitalized in Lubbock after their plane crashed near Amarillo Wednesday.
Investigators believe the pilot, 54-year-old Terry Harris was trying to land in a field when the Cessna clipped a fence. The plane then crashed into a shed and caught fire, killing a horse.
Harris is in critical condition at University Medical Center. His 26-year-old son Miles Harris was the only passenger in the crash and is in serious condition at UMC.
