Independent Candidates to Campaign in Lubbock

The two candidates on the independent ticket for Texas Governor will be in Lubbock next week. 

Kinky Friedman is inviting his supporters to a meet and greet. It's this Sunday at Bleacher's in the Depot District from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The second independent candidate, Carole Keeton Strayhorn, plans to be in Lubbock Tuesday.

Friedman and Strayhorn face incumbent Rick Perry and democrat Chris Bell on the November ballot.
