DPS says speeding is most likely a factor in a fatal rollover Saturday afternoon.
The SUV flipped one mile west of Shallowater on US Highway 84 around 2:30pm. Witnesses tell Troopers that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it ran off the road and rolled numerous times ejecting the driver, 60-year-old Dora Delbosque of Abilene.
The vehicle landed on its roof on the rail road tracks. Delbosque was the only person in the car. DPS says she was not wearing a seat belt.
