Kinky Friedman Visits Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Hundreds of supporters showed up at Bleachers Sports Cafe to welcome Texas Independent Gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman to Lubbock.  

The meet and greet event was held Sunday afternoon. Friedman is traveling across the state addressing issues he thinks are important including healthcare, renewable energy and education.  

The second Independent candidate, Carole Keeton Strayhorn, plans to be in Lubbock on Tuesday.
