Car Hits Child, Driver Arrested For Intoxication Assault - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock woman is facing charges after she allegedly struck a little girl with her car.

Police say the girl had been playing in the sprinklers at Bean Elementary around 9-o'clock Sunday night. The car struck her as she crossed 29th Street. Her name and condition have not been released. But, we do know she was taken to UMC. The driver of the car was arrested for intoxication assault.
