When it comes to agriculture, most West Texans would say cotton is king. The owner of Crosbyton Seed Company would say sorghum is just as important.
Crosbyton Seed Company President Nathan Boardman says, "Grain sorghum is used pretty much parallel to corn. It's even a staple crop in many parts of the world but it's not consumed directly by people so much in the United States."
Crosbyton Seed is a privately owned company that offers research, quality testing and conditioning for hybrid grain sorghum. The company employs about forty-five people year round and attracts clients from around the globe. For more information, click here.
