91 Year Old Crosbyton Man Celebrates Birthday with NewsChannel 11

Crosbyton resident Brice Allen celebrated his 91st birthday with NewsChannel 11 during the Community Coverage Tour in Crosbyton.

Allen was born July 25, 1915. He is a World War II veteran whose patriotism is displayed all over his house. He and his wife Connie have been married for nearly sixty-five years. He is also passionate about his country and exercise. NewsChannel 11 asked Allen what was the best thing about living to be 91.

Allen said, "I feel like it's a blessing because I think I've outlived all my enemies."

Mr. Allen's grandson tells us he has four loves in his life: God, family, the U.S.A. and Texas A&M.  To celebrate his birthday, Congressman Mac Thornberry's office gave NewsChannel 11 an American flag that was flown in Washington D.C. to present to Allen.
