Elderly Man Shaken By Pit Bull

An elderly man was attacked by a pit bull while walking in East Lubbock Wednesday morning.

When police arrived, they found at least one dog running loose in the neighborhood. According to witnesses, the victim walked past a home, where four pit bulls tied up in the front yard. One of them broke free, and lunged at the man. Fortunately, the victim was more shaken, than injured.

Animal control services took the suspect dog into custody. While officers instructed the homeowner to take the remaining dogs to the back yard.
