TX-DOT says certain intersections downtown no longer need a stop light. Thursday, the city took another step toward their removal. There are seven intersections along Main street and 13th street in question. Those traffic signals are now flashing red in all directions. If all goes according to plan, they will be replaced with all-way stop signs.
But first, the city wants to know what you think. A public hearing will be held Tuesday, August 15th at 10am. Just go to room 103 of Lubbock City Hall.
