Mandatory Water Restrictions Begin Monday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Beginning Monday you will only be allowed to water your lawn twice a week in Lubbock.

You'll recall that's part of the new ordinance the City Council approved earlier this month. It's part of the first mandatory water restrictions in city history. Previous restrictions only regulated what time of day you could water, not how many times.
