Lubbock City Council will go behind closed doors for an executive session Monday morning. At the center of the meeting will be the Lubbock Cotton Kings.
The discussion was put on hold last Tuesday.
Monday the council will consider a resolution, authorizing the mayor to waive the Coliseum's rental fee for each game, as well as the balance of last year's rent.
They are also discussing the commission for concessions and program sales. As well as, an economic grant to the hockey club. They will then vote on the issue in an open meeting.
We will of course be at the meeting and bring you the latest developments.
