The Window Mop: Does It Work? - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Here's a mop for your window.  Fitting, it's called the Window Mop. Just pour your window cleaner in the handle, and pull the trigger.  It has a built-in sprayer, but Does It Work?

The product has a soft cloth with Velcro to hold it in place. The rim of the mop has a squeegee, I guess for easy wiping. 

In West Texas, you don't have to go far to find a dirty window.  In fact, I caught a few KCBD employees in the parking lot as they were leaving work.  We quickly learned this window mop was more of a flop. "What does it look like?" "It's a little smeared," said Denise Green, KCBD employee. I tried again to rub off the smear marks. It was better but still there.

I guided in the next dirty windshield for another go-around.  Maybe this time it will work better.   "Just scream to me, 'streak or no streak,'" we said to Kim Owens, another employee leaving work. "Ok. Streak!," she replied.  I tried it again to make it look better. "Streak. Look at it, it looks bad," said Kim. "Oh yeah, it is bad," we noticed.

This Window Mop is definitely a window flop...it doesn't work.
