Unleaded Gas Passes the $3.00 Mark in Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It's news you certainly don't want to hear, but must learn to deal with. Gas prices have reached a new milestone, rising above $3 a gallon for regular unleaded.

 Many drivers tell us these prices are breaking their budget. Some say they can remember when gas was thirty cents a gallon. Others say they are cutting back on vacations and other expenses. One man says he lives in Levelland but works in Lubbock, so he may need to find a job closer to Levelland. Another lady told us she may invest in a bicycle.
