Nelson Transferred to Jail in Spur - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Jonathan Nelson is on his way to a jail in Spur.

U-S Marshals escorted him from Abilene to Lubbock late Wednesday afternoon.  They transferred him to Spur just before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.  Nelson is the man who pleaded guilty to stealing $77 million from his former employer Patterson UTI.  Nelson was arrested in Abilene last week for a parole violation.  He had apparently moved from Littlefield to Aspermont. Nelson will most likely remain behind bars until his sentencing.  He faces up to thirty years in prison.
