Two Horses Killed in Traffic Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Authorities found themselves playing the role of cowboy Wednesday morning when they had to corral some loose horses.  

A driver crashed into two of the horses on the Idalou highway just east of Loop 289 around 2:00 a.m.  The driver, 34-year-old Sam Salas of Crosbyton was not injured but the two horses died on impact.  The other two horses were rounded up without any injuries.
