City Approves Bids for Park Irrigation Equipment - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The City is one step closer to using well water to irrigate their City parks. 

Thursday,  the Lubbock City Council approved a contract to purchase the pumping and other equipment needed to irrigate city parks.  The City drilled wells at eleven parks last year with the goal of using well water instead of drinking water for park irrigation.  The project is expected to be complete by the beginning of next year.
