Murder Charges Dropped Against Lubbock Man

Bank and phone records spell freedom for a Lubbock man.  Georgia authorities released Kelsey Ruth Thursday.

Ruth was accused of fatally shooting his common law wife Tai Morgan.  Morgan's body was found June 13th in Dekalb, Georgia.  Two days later, Ruth turned himself in to Lubbock police.  Now, attorneys say cell phone and bank records prove that Ruth left Morgan's home June 12th to drive to Texas.  He reportedly called Morgan from hundreds of miles away that night and the victim's mother verified that Morgan received the call.  There are no other arrests in this case so far.
