Roosevelt's New Drug Test Policy Takes Affect

Changes are taking place at Roosevelt ISD.  Monday the school district's new drug testing policy goes into affect.

The policy allows for random drug testing of 7th through 12th graders who are in extracurricular activities or those students who park on campus.  Testing positive will result in drug counseling.  It could also mean suspension from extracurricular activities.  Roosevelt ISD serves part of East Lubbock.
