Governor Grants Lubbock County Juvenile System Thousands - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock County will benefit from new grants announced by Governor Rick Perry's office.

The awards are part of the Juvenile Accountability Block Grant program. Lubbock will get $27,705 for juvenile substance abuse education, counseling and treatment and workshops on family stability and anger management.

The money will also be used for a year-long prevention program.
