Car-Jacking Suspect Arrested

It took Lubbock police about an hour to track down a car-jacking suspect. Police handcuffed and arrested Gregory Thornton in the 3400 block of East 16th about 7 a.m. Thursday.

Thornton is accused of flagging a woman down in the 100 block of Zenith about an hour earlier. When the woman slowed down, Thornton allegedly pointed a gun at her and stole her car.
